General Information
A late Caroline minuscule showing sings of transition written in a single hand.
Original Condition
Current Condition
A single bifolium has been cut into two pieces and repurposed as comb fragments to reinforce the spine in the host volume, from which they have now been detached.

There is significant staining, wear and tear to the parchment. There is evidence of wood worm damage.

Host Volume
Two volumes are listed under the X 617 shelfmark in the catalogue below: Nicolaus Burtius, Bononia illustrata, 1494; and Nicolaus Burtius, Musarum nympharumque ac summorum deorum epitomata, 21 January 1498. It is not clear which volume the fragment originated from.
