General Information
From the seller's descritpion:
Ca. 1470 in France. Book of Hours leaf on vellum in Latin, done in a French size, 8" x 6". Gold-heightened initial & border. The inhabited initial shows some devotional rubbing.
Original Condition
In the top-right of both sides, a number (20th- or 21st-century) has been written in: 369 on the recto; the verso is harding to read.

Contains a version of "Obsecro te" from (recto) et fidem rectam castitatem humilitatem...to the end (verso) et misericordie. Amen.
Followed by "O Intemerata", introduced the rubric: Oro devota de beata maria. or(ati)o.

Almost certainly the prayers section of a book of hours.

Purchased from Tuscan Books (Rudolph Hofmeister), Escondido, California.
It is unknown when and where the original book was broken to sell off the individual leaves.
