(recto:) [numquid non ipse est pater] //tuus, qui possedit te, et fecit, et creavit te? Memento dierum antiquorum, cogita generationes singulas... X ... Ipsi me pro[vocaverunt in eo] qui non erat Deus, et irritaverunt in vanitatibus suis [et ego provocabo eos in eo qui non est populus, et in gente stulta irritabo illos]; (verso:) [Congregabo super eos mala, et sagittas meas] //complebo in eis. Consumentur fame, et devorabunt eos aves morsu amarissimo. Dentes bestiarum immittam in eos... X ... History
Central Europe?
The earliest attested owner of the host volume was the Transylvanian Thomas of Iclod (Co. Alba): "Thomae Iklodi Anno domini 1617" (title page of U.63725). The volume later belonged to "Laurentius Dalnaki" (ibid.). Dálnoki Nagy Lőrinc (1614-1661) was a teacher at the Unitarian College in Cluj in the 1630s and 1640s. He left his book to the Unitarian College ("Ecclesiae Unitariensis Claudiopolitanae", s. XVII, ibid.).
