Removed from binding: Half calf with brown paper over boards; reinforced with brown tape; manuscript binding label: Caesar Commentaries Morus; sprinkled edges. Binding was replaced in 2024 by the University of Chicago Library's conservation unit, which led to the discovery of this manuscript fragment, previously covered by blank paper pastedowns. Removed boards housed separately from original volume; to request boards, ask at the University of Chicago Hanna Holborn Gray Special Collections Research Center.
