Behind the saint, hangs a brown tapestry with golden floral motifs, and covers the middle staff of letter F. Letter F holds guilded floral decoration on blue, and has blue acanthus offshoots with stylised golden flowers. Letter F is placed on a gilded background. On fol. 55v there is a large pen-flourished initials covering 2 lines of text and music notation.
Further articulation with pen-flourished versals alternating blue and red with pen-work of the other colour, a black pen-flourished initial with red stroke, or smaller plain versals alternating blue and red.
