The left column is better preserved than the right column, but some letters are missing from one of the interior sides of both columns.
The centre of the fragment, corresponding to the spine of the host volume, is missing, exposing the binding of the book: two strips of parchment with square Gothic musical notation, each about 60 mm x 15 mm, are visible.
Book Decoration and Musical Notation
Highlighted initials, rubric, and a red Lombard (2 lines).
Gothic square musical notation of the two strips visible in the binding of the host volume. Only one or two letters is readable on each strip; thus, the fragments are unidentifiable.
