Bought in February 1852 at a sale in Paris by Ferdinand Snellaert, who owned it until 1872. Acquired by Ghent University Library by the end of the 19th century.

Remarks

The Die Rose manuscript was used as maculature. According to Snellaert's notes, the manuscript must have been cut in 1518 due to these leaves being used as flyleaves.
