A Blood-Letting Calendar in Latin, in a sixteenth-century typeface, for the year 1531. Visible are a list of when the movable feasts occur (the intervallum laicorum xviii dies undoubtedly signifies the date of Easter as 9 April, confirmed by Septuagesima in die Dorothee, 6 February), a list of lunar-solar conjunctions (new moons) and oppositions (full moons), including conjunctions on Feria sexta post Gerdrudis (=18 March in a year when Easter fell on 9 April) and Dominica post nativitatis Marie (=10 September), dates featuring an eclipse in 1531. After the tables comes a list of dates opportune for medical interventions.
