Lactantius, Divinae institutiones
F-j1vo

General Information
Carolina (one hand) for the text, capitalis as display script for the rubrics
Original Condition
The upper pastedown was the inner doubleleaf of a quire, and the lower pastedown the next doubleleaf.
Bischoff (1998) identifies a fragment now in Florence (Biblioteca Medicea Laurenziana, Ms. Ashburnam 1899) as coming from the same original manuscript.
Current Condition
Part of a doubleleaf used as the lower pastedown (now loose) and another smaller fragment, the remains of the upper pastedown (also loose). The writing has left an imprint on the leather and wood of the inside cover, including for parts of the pastedown that is no longer present. The lower pastedown consists of a trimmed doubleleaf that has been separated from the lower board, which also carries an imprint of the writing.
