History
Germany?
The host volume belonged to unknown Burchard Rudensis (Burhardus Rudensis, ownership entry on the front pastedown). We dont't know when the volume (printed in 1586) was covered with a parchment leaf taken from the manuscript with Beda's the Venerable sermons.
Than it belonged to University Library in Königsberg, which in 1827 was joined with the castle library, this is how it was created the Royal and University Library in Königsberg (1827-1944).
Then, as a result of the evacuation of the most valuable collections of the library and the change of state borders after the second world war, the evacuated books (among them the host volume) found themselves in the territory of the Polish state. In July 1946, by the decision of the Ministry of Education, they were transferred to the University Library in Toruń.
