    Provenance

The host book was printed in Strasbourg in 1594 and was first purchased in that city, as suggested by an inscription on the title page: "Argentinae Constat den. 24" (s. XVI/XVII).

In 1704 the book was available at the Jesuit College of Cluj: "Inscriptus Catalogo Residentiae Claudiopolitanae Societatis Jesu 1704" (ibid.). It was inherited by the Catholic high school of Cluj: "Bibliothecae Regalis Lycaei Claudipolitani 1832" (ibid.).

    Another ownership note reads: "P. G. J. C." (s. XVIII, ibid.).
