History
Nürnberg
The host volume is a student notebook used for the Theology course taught by Ladislaus Vid at the Jesuit College of Trnava: "Tractatus De Augustisimo Incarnationis Mysterio Sub R. P. Ladislao Vid. Anno M DC LXIX Tyrnaviae” (lower margin of fragment, back cover of host volume).
Ladislaus Vid was rector of the college in 1664-1668, and dean of Philosophy in 1668-1670 (cf. Karl A. F. Fischer, ‘Die Kaschauer und Tyrnauer Jesuiten-Universitäten im 17. und 18. Jahrhundert — Namenslisten der Professoren’, Ungarn-Jahrbuch 15 (1987), 117-185, at pp. 155-156).
The student also dated his notebook on the index: "Anno 1669” [p. 142].
The volume was probably bound in Trnava.
