This fragment contains entries bearing Roman numerals LII-LVII and corresponding in text and order to the formulary produced under Benedict XII (Città del Vaticano, B.A.V., Ott.lat. 333, ff. 11r-12r). With one exception, An earlier version of each of the entries can be found in the works ascribed to Thomas of Capua. De universitate occidente religiosum (concerning a group of dairy farmers, a lay brother with an overly literal idea of animal husbandry, some dairy cows, and, at least in this fragment, a mare buried alive) can be found in Thomas Capuanis, Summa dictaminis IX 18 (Die Briefsammlung des Thomas von Capua, ed. Emmy Heller and Hans Martin Schaller, München, 2011, pp. 220-221). We could not find an edition of the first entry for De petentibus moderari (concerning two persons who killed an abbot); a version of the remaining texts can be found in the formulary ascribed to Thomas of Capua (A Formulary of the Papal Penitentiary in the Thirteenth Century, ed. Henry Charles Lea, Philadelphia, 1892, p. 162, n. 172, nn. 1-3, 5).
