Remarks

Johannes Barthen was the firts known owner of the host volume. Subsequently, the volume was handed over to the Elbinger Gymnasiums-Biblithek. The Gymnasium, founded in 1535, was the oldest school of this type on the territory of Prussia. The library was established in 1601.
