Book Decoration and Musical Notation
Description
Full-length double-bar in gold and colors along left margin, with rinceaux halfway across upper and lower margin. One- to -two-line initials in gold on red or blue backgrounds. Rectangular line-llers in gold and colors.

Made in Northern France for the Use of Metz.
Provenance
Purchased by Otto F. Ege in the 1930s; dismembered shortly thereafter. Leaves of this manuscripts are used as no. 28 in his "Fifty Original Leaves from Medieval Manuscripts" portfolios.
