Northern gothica textualis. Paleographical peculiarities are the decorative vertical lines above the double consonants ('dd', 'll', 'bb') , the thickening of the shaft of the long 's' and the shape of the 'w' (and 'v') (Croenen & Janssens 1994).

General Remarks

The two fragments are currently kept under the same shelfmark as the manuscript in which they were discovered (and from which they were removed). In the 'addendum folder', another paper strip is kept that also functioned as binding material in the same host volume. However, this paper strip is much younger and not a remant of the same manuscript as the two parchment strips of Arturs doet.
