Title Charters in the archives of Averbode Abbey concerning Koersel.
Date of Origin/Publication 8 October and 20 December 1529
Shelfmark Scherpenheuvel-Zichem, Abdij der Norbertijnen van Averbode, Archief, Sectie I, oorkonde, 3256-3257
Remarks
On both verso sides, the note 'Coersel 1529' can be read. Both fragments were used to cover and protect the wax seal on two different charters related to the town of Koersel (Limburg) from 1529, and presumably separated around the same time. Fragment 37 was used for charter 3257, while Fragment 41 was used for charter 3256.
