General Remarks
Single folio (membrum disiectum) from a liturgical Office book. Contains consecutive hymns for the feast of the Dedication of a Church (Nova veniens e caelo and Portae nitent margaritis). The back-to-back transmission of hymns suggests origin in a Hymnal, though an Antiphoner is also possible.
Book Decoration and Musical Notation
Musical notation in black square neumes on five-line red staves with C clef on the third line
