Remarks

Jacobus Johannes Nieuwenhuyzen, the first editor of the text, who was also the first recorded owner, writes in his edition that he discovered the fragments in the binding of a seventeenth-century volume but does not otherwise identify this book. Snellaert acquired the fragments at the auction of Nieuwenhuyzen collection (Amterstam, 1861). The fragments entered the collection of Ghent University Library after Snellaert's death in 1872.
