The numeration is placed both on the right upper corner and in the external margin of the page, except fol. 1, until fol. 9. The following folia (ff. 10–34) only display the number in the central margin, except for f. 11 which is wrongly marked as fol. 10. Ff. 8, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34 also display a third pencil numeration: 41 (corrected in 8), 70, 71, 72, 73.

The fragment is composed by 5 quires: 17 (ff. 1–7), 24 (ff. 8–11), 38 (ff. 12–19), 410 (ff. 20–29), 55 (ff. 30–34). Bifolia are bound in the wrong order: as a result, the order of the text of the psalms is not respected and the bifolia appear to be mixed up.

Book Decoration and Musical Notation

Description

Every page is decorated with coloured edge strips in blue or brown, with white ornaments and gold initials. The end of each paragraph is filled with decorations in red, blue, and gold to avoid leaving any blank space at the end of the line (horror vacui).
