Das Fragment wurden als fliegendes Blatt vorne eingebunden (heute foliiert als f. I). F. Ir* als auch Iv (ein weiteres Fragment) sind vom Ledereinband braun verfärbt, es fehlen allerdings Leimspuren, die darauf hindeuten würden, dass es sich um ehemalige Spiegel gehandelt haben könnte. Weitere Hinweise, dass die Blätter nie auf die Deckel aufgeklebt wurden, sind die probatio pennae und Nachträge nach der Makulierung.
