Both leaves were trimmed horizontally, while fol. [2] is also trimmed vertically, leaving only one column of the text preserved on this leaf. A large stain is visible across fol. [1], making it difficult to read.

Fol. [1] contains several 17th-century inscriptions relating to the fragment's later purpose as a wrapper for a baptismal register to the parish of Desteldonk.

Bifolium was later restored with adhesive tape and bound in a 20th-century codex, alongside its edition by Leonard Willems.
