More about the Current Condition

Although the two leaves now function as flyleaves, hooked around the first and last quires of the host volume, the discolouration on the recto of the front leaf and verso of the rear leaf suggest they once functioned as pastedowns.

There is light staining and loss of ink, particularly on the sides of the leaves which were once glued down to the wooden boards.
