One hand, neat textus praescissus. Note the a closed with a hairline, the double morphology of d, the round final -s, the crossed Tironian 7, the unsystematic dotting of the i.

Pen-flourised initial (red, blue, 2 lines) with tendrils extending amply into the margin. Red/blue running title (in turn-in; it does not show in the picture) and chapter number.

The two colligata constituting the host volume were printed in Basel in 1569. Previous owner annotations on the title page of U.61487: "Baccalaurey (?) Bernardini manu propria" (s. XVI); "<sub rasura:> E. Giula manu propria" (s. XVI); "Stephani Conradi manu propria" (s. XVII); "Laurent<ius> Dalnaki". Dálnoki Nagy Lőrinc (1614-1661) was a teacher at the Unitarian College in Cluj in the 1630s and 1640s. He left his book to the Unitarian College ("Ecclesiae Unitariensis Claudiopolitanae", s. XVII).
Host Volume
Former shelfmarks: D.20 (ink, spine, s. XVII?); R. 516 (s. XVIII?, title page of first vol.); B. V. 14 (pencil, s. XIX-XX, front pastedown). A 16th-c. hand wrote the estimated price of the volume: "Aestimatus d. 32" (front pastedown).
