      Two letters, evidently from a collection of letters. On recto and first 17 lines of v.a, part of a letter to an unspecificed "princeps" defending a work the letter writer has written; this letter mentions an Archbishop W., possibly Wilchar of Sens (fl. ca. 765-778) or Wolfhar of Rheims (d. 816). Following this letter, beginning of another letter to another "princeps" containing advice in spiritual and practical affairs from an ecclesiastical writer.

Provenance

Owned by Sigurd and Gudrun Wandel. Their collection of 68 manuscript fragments was acquired by the University of Chicago in 1926.
