Book Decoration and Musical Notation
Description
On the right side of the recto, there is a decoration of blue and pink flowers with green leaves. There are five initial letters, written in gold, pink, and blue. There are three line-fillers in blue, pink, and gold. On the verso, a similar border decoration is on the left side. There is one initial letter on the verso, in blue, pink, and gold.

Origin
Written in Northern France around the year 1470, for the use of Rouen or or Coutances.
Provenance
Dismembered by Cleveland bookdealer Otto F. Ege in the 1940s. Leaved used as no. 46 in his "Fifty Original Leaves of Medieval Manuscripts" portfolios, 30 of which have been located.
