Humanistic script written by a single hand; coeval marginalia throughout the text added by a second hand.
Original Condition
Modern ff. 1–10; the numeration is placed both on the right upper corner and in the external margin of the page. Fol. 10r also displays a third pencil numeration, a crossed out 42.
Current Condition
The fragment consists of 1f. (fol. 1), 18 (ff. 2–9), 1f. (fol. 10). The first page is trimmed in the upper half part and the attempt of restoration on the upper right corner covers some words on the verso. On the recto of the first two folia someone noted with a pencil “C.m.h.l. 257”, probably a previous shelfmark, and number 147a at fol. 1r and number 148 at fol. 2r.
Book Decoration and Musical Notation
Fol. 1r displays part of an illumination, belonging to the decoration of the first letter, which was cut out; it shows a white vine-stem decorated with colors (red, blue and green) and gold leaf.
