Host Volume

Title Logical Miscellany: (1) Radulphus Brito, Quaestiones super Porphyrium, ff. 1r-34v; (2) Radulphus Brito, Quaestiones super librum Praedicamentorum, ff. 34v-50r; (3) Radulphus Brito, Quaestiones super librum Perihermeneias, ff. 53r-65r; (4) Anonymus, Commentarium cum quaestionibus super Isagoge et Praedicamenta, ff. 69r-79v; (5) Philippus de Ferraria, Expositio in logicam Petri Hispani, ff. 80ra-108vb.
Date of Origin/Publication The codex contains two manuscripts. The first (ff. 1r-79v) dates to the mid 14C, as confirmed by the watermarks in the paper (cf. Briquet no. 4595 and 4597). The second, containing an exposition of the logic of Petrus Hispanus by Philippus de Ferraria, dates to the late 13C.
Place of Origin/Publication The codex is Italian in origin. Given the presence of texts by Radulphus Brito, whose philosophy was thought to be amenable to that of Thomas Aquinas, together with the commentary by the Dominican Philippus de Ferraria, it seems probable that this book is the product of the educational milieu of Italian Dominicans, but there is no firm evidence to support this supposition.
