Book Decoration and Musical Notation

Description
Floriated vertical borders and upper horizontal border on verso; inhabited lower horizontal borders and upper horizontal border on recto depicting a beast and man (upper recto), a wild man chasing a monkey on a horse (lower recto), two wild men fighting (lower verso); corner pieces of a dog with a bird-faced tail (verso) and eagle (recto). Individual historiated metal cuts of the life of Daniel. All cuts contain early examples of the "criblé" technique.
2-line illuminated psalm initials in red, 1-line illuminated capitals alternating in red and blue.
