  • History

    Origin

The antiphonal was probably used by the chapter of Our Lady and possibly used in the church before it was broken up.

    Provenance

The 5 fragments were probably recycled and used as covers for archival documents belonging to the archives of the church of Our Lady of Aarschot and then later again removed. There are no indications on the fragments to identify what these former host volumes could have been.

Persons and Institutions Church of Our Lady of Aarschot.
