Text starts on back cover (Book I, ch. xxxii-xxxvi out of lxi) and continues on the front cover (Book II, ch. iii-v). This may have been the second bifolium of a quaternio (i.e. the bifolium may correspond to ff. *2v/*7r inside the quire).

The bottom 1/3 of the second column on the front cover of the host book is torn. The spine wrapping (Renaissance blind-tooled white leather) covers the centre of the bifolium, including c. 25 mm of text on the inner columns.

Remarks

Joachim Stegmann was a German theologian, Bible translator, mathematician. Rector of Academy of Rakow (Poland). He moved to Cluj in 1633, but died in the same year and left his books to the Unitarian College.
