    • Remarks

While other preserved accounts of Arnold van Horne's tenure are written in Latin, these accounts are all written in Middle Dutch. As Arnold van Horne used to be the bishop of Utrecht until 1378, he might possibly have used Dutch as the main language during his tenure in Liège as well.

Remarks

The fragments were trimmed and used in a book binding alongside other archival documents kept by, and related to, Arnold of Horne's tenure as bishop of Liege (such as different accounts kept in Latin and Middle French, as well as letters). The exact host volume is unknown.
