General Information
One hand, Southern textualis.
The fragment has an irregular shape, and is very fragile.
Original Condition
The text beginning on the right of the flesh side (Pro S. Mauritio et sociis martyribus, 22 Sep.) continues on the left of the hair side (In dedicatione S. Michaelis archangeli, 29 Sep.). The other leaf of the bifolium contains masses for martyrs who were popes (hair side, right) and martyrs who were not popes (flesh side, left).
Current Condition
Restored at the National Unity Museum (Alba Iulia) in 2021.
NB: The fragment's shape is irregular: the maximum height x width are quoted.
Book Decoration and Musical Notation
Fine pen-flourished initials (red/blue). The peculiarity of the pen flourishing consists in the presence of blue elements in the red tendrils, and of red elements in the blue tendrils.

The manuscript may have been maculated by the Jesuits of Cluj. On the hair side, an early-modern hand (s. XVII-XVIII) wrote "Jesus Maria".
Host Volume
Fragm. Cod. Lat. 8-10 were detached from an unspecified volume at some point in the 19th or 20th century, and were kept in a box until the restoration programme began in 2020.
