History
Provenance
Original host volume first belonged to Daniel van Pijnbroeck, deacon of St Martin's Church at Aalst and canon and treasurer of the Church of Our Lady at Antwerp.
Van Pijnbroeck left the host volume to the Franciscan convent of Wolfsgracht (Brussels), in particular to frater Jacob van Coudenberghe, who was a family member (possibly a cousin/nephew) of Van Pijnbroeck's. The Wolfsgracht convent was eventually confiscated during the Reformation, and was used as a infirmary for plague victims by 1578.
Persons and Institutions
Daniel van Pijnbroeck (previous owner, died after 1522); frater Jacob van Coudenberghe, Wolfsgracht convent (previous owner, mid 16th century until at least 1578).
Remarks
Host volume is unknown.
