General Remarks
This manuscript is written in skillfully graduated strokes of the pen, with punctuation and accents of overlining in red. It is in the most favored Nastaliq script known as hanging writing, used largely for writing classics and poetry. The rose and other motifs are inserted in the margin. Hairline is on hairline in marginal lines, and touches of gold leaf accent the decorations.
