Book Decoration and Musical Notation

Description

Fol. [2] contains a plain initial in silver or golden ink. Traces of red pen flourishes, one initial covered with acid-free paper, making the type of decoration not discernable.

The fragment was owned by Jozef-Maria De Smet until his death in 1996. The collection of Jozef-Maria De Smet was transferred to KU Leuven Bijzondere Collecties after his death in 1996. The fragment was handed over together with Ms. 1495-1502.
