Reconstruction Summary

A bifolium of the Gottschalk Antiphonal, written and illustrated by Gottschalk of Lambach at and for the use of the Stiftsbibliothek Lambach (Upper Austria) in the late twelfth century. This bifolium is lacking three lines at the top; this missing portion is currently bound into Lambach, Stiftsbibliothek Ink. I.95, in which this bifolium formerly served as a free flyleaf. MS 481.51.10 is missing a portion of its outer edge. For a reconstruction of the missing text, see the Transcription tab. This bifolium was purchased from Hans P. Kraus in 1965. 481.51.8: ...suum et dum seminat.../...et exclamavit ad...; 481.51.10: ...non reliquit me solum.../...memento mei ut suggeras...
