Reconstruction Summary

Incipit: [...]sam adversus eos qui/ Explicit: Reminiscere miserationum tuarum...tuarum quae a seculo sunt... (From the Office of the Dead (Matins, Second Nocturne, Psalms 22 & 24))

Full border of acanthus and rinceaux in gold and colors with birds and other creatures. Roundel miniature in the outer central margin of recto and verso. Recto: The wife of St. Alexis in blue and a hennin kneeling next to a bed. French inscription (with abbreviations) that reads "la femme". Verso: St. Alexis in red, either kneeling or standing, in nature with his hands held out before him, palms facing him. The name Alexie is inscribed. Dismembered in the 1990s. This leaf offered by 1st Dibs Auction, Reference number LU14012989132, current location unknown.
