Reconstruction Summary

A charter in French glued to the inner front and back boards, and probably passed behind the spine. The top of the text is barely visible on the front board at the spine, and part of the last three lines (except for the date) can be seen, if not easily read. The host volume apparently belonged to the Abbey Library of Rheinau.
