Reconstruction Summary

...et rursum post tenebras spero .../...vel celte scul...

liturgy: This leaf contains the Office for the Dead, 3rd Nocturne of Matins, specifically the 7th lesson of Job 17.
the line "inferno nulla est redemtio miserere mei Deus et salva me" which is usually contained in this portion of the Book of the Dead is missing from this leaf.
Signs of erasure are unclear, so it was probably omitted from the beginning.
The 14 lines are contained within the bounds of red margins.
One capital "P" is decorated with gold, red, and blue ink on the verso.
In the left hand margin of the verso, there is simple rinceaux in the borders, with one red and green ink decorated flower as well as gold trefoil.

 evidence of use:
white Ege tape in top and bottom corners of recto
two round stains visible at bottom of leaf
