Reconstruction Summary

Fragment of a gradual. It contains the chants for Easter Sunday: Proprium de tempore, Dominica Resurrectionis: Antiphon: Sedit angelus ad sepulcrum (End), Introitus: Resurrexi. The splendid initial of the introit shows the risen Christ with a victory banner on the open tomb, with a guard in front of him. The surrounding medallions depict Jonah with a whale, a woman with an ointment jar and angels.
