Reconstruction Summary

A fragment of 10 leaves in a quire consisting of the beginning of the Proprium de sanctis. The last rubric (f. 10r) is for St. Lucy. Written in a gothic rotunda book hand in brownish ink in two columns. There are 7 historiated initials, 1 foliate border (f. 1v) with 5 portraits (a sixth one is cut out), and illuminated initials and foliate borders throughout. Probably illuminated for Leonello d'Este, Duke of Ferrara 1441-50, by Giorgio d'Alemagna and others.
