Reconstruction Summary

A single partial bifolium from a Gradual from the second half of the 11th century, including chants for Passion Sunday. Repurposed as a cover for the post-incunabulum CL 6160, an edition of Jodocus Clichtoveus' De bello et pace opusculum, Christianos principes ad sedandos bellorum tumultus et pacem componendam exhortans from 1523.

The bifolium is accompanied by other manuscript fragments repurposed as a spine liner and pastedowns: 2 parchment fragments of Iuvencus' Historia evangelica (Frauenfeld, Kantonsbibliothek Thurgau, CL 6160, Parchment pastedowns); and 2 paper fragments of Alexander of Hales' Summa Theologica, De expositione articulorum symboli apostolorum (Frauenfeld, Kantonsbibliothek Thurgau, CL 6160, Paper pastedowns).
