Reconstruction Summary

...Quia deus meus es tu.../...Sancta trinitas unus deus...; stain on the upper left corner of the recto; A leaf from the Book of Hours (Use of Paris), "The St. Alexis Hours." The leaf comes from Hindman's/Freeman Auctions in Chicago, Illinois. There are two roundels on each side of the leaf that were illustrated by the Circle of the Master of Coëtivy (Colin D'Amiens) and display scenes from the Life of Saint Catherine. The content of the leaf has Psalm 142 from the Seven Penitential Psalms and leads into the first Kyrie litany. There are decorative illustrations surrounding the text and roundels. Its provenance before Hindman's/Freeman Auctions states that the item came from a private collection in California with the id: MS 246.
