Reconstruction Summary

This single parchment folium preserves antiphons and responsories for the feasts of St. Cecilia, St. Clement, and St. Felicitas, written in Low Countries notation on four-line red and yellow staves. Dating to before 1400 and of Flemish origin, the fragment reveals at least three hands: the earliest possibly in a Carolingian-derived minuscule, a second hand providing retouching, and a later one introducing corrections and marginalia mixing Latin with Netherlandish vernacular.
