Two strips from a German-language charter; the name of one of the authors, ich Hanneite, die appears, and at the bottom is a reference to an Urkund, followed on the next line by von Freyburg zum Eisenberg. What remains of the dating clause states it was done on a Thursday, in a year ending in 50.
The front and back pastedowns come from a register of expenses of spelt to vineyard workers in 1469-1470. An ownership note attests to the host volume's presence in the abbey library of Rheinau in 1679.
