This fragment is a narrow strip from the so-called Mondseer Fragmente - a collection of various Christian texts translated in Old German in the 10th c. Although not written in Mondsee, the original manuscript was probably in Mondsee in the 15th c. where it was used as binding waste. With few exceptions (such as this fragment) most of the fragments were detached from their host volumes and reassembled in today Vienna, ÖNB, Cod. 3093*.
