A fragment of a chronicle of world history genealogical roll. The first column covers Biblical history from Ptolemy I to the birth of Christ, with two roundels illustrating Judas Machabeus, and the birth of Christ; the second column covers from Babylonian King Balthasar to the death of Alexander the Great, with two roundels illustrating Alexander on horseback and the crowning of Esther, as well as a third partial roundel; the third column is Roman history from King Numa Pompilius to the victory of Scipio Africanus over Hannibal; and the fourth column is the pre-Roman history of Britain. Written in an unidentified hand in a cursiva script, in brown ink, in four columns, with initials in blue and gold with red penwork, red ink also highlights genealogies. There are 4 full and one partial roundels depicting historical scenes. Consists of 2 skins pasted end to end.
