            <origin>Central Europe (Poland, like the host volume?)</origin>
            <provenance>The host volume was printed in Rákow, Poland, in 1624. In the 17th c. it belonged to a certain Daniel Szentiványi: "Danielis Sz. Ivani, Constat den. 70" (title page of host volume). A subsequent owner is recorded on the front flyleaves: "Johannes Bartok est possessor... Anno MDCCXLIV [1744]" (first front flyleaf); "Ioannis Bartok Pastoris Unitariae Religionis in ???. A. 1772 manu propria" (second front flyleaf). &#13;
In the nineteenth century, the host volume belonged to the Unitarian school of old Turda, Co. Cluj: "Bibliothecae Gymnasii Otordensis..." and stamp (title page).</provenance>
