                  <p>The outer edge of the leaf is severely damaged and brittle, with loss of text. Cause of the damage is unknown. Two of the green initials, an 'I' and an 'O', remain only in outline, possibly due to damage caused by iron gall ink. &#13;
The fragment is kept in a double-sided glass frame, which does not obscure any of the leaf's contents.</p>
